Katrin Ewald, Ph.D., Partner
Dr. Ewald is a survey research and statistical consultant with over 10 years of experience in the social science survey research field. Dr. Ewald's expertise comprises human behavioral research in various settings including perception and provision of health care services, research on recreational behavior and human-traffic interaction patterns, as well as human interaction and its relation to tobacco and alcohol use and interactions of community and partner violence. She has also substantial experience in human subject neuro-cognitive testing and evaluation and provides cognitive and behavioral examinations and evaluations in clinical and scientific settings. Her expertise comprises multi-modal survey research projects including combinations of telephone, field and web-based data collection with hard-to-reach populations, ethnic minorities, and research on sensitive topics. Dr. Ewald is specialized in the conceptualization, design and implementation of large-scale longitudinal research projects and she has significant experience in sampling strategies, statistical analysis, data mining as well as evaluation and needs assessments for a range of behavioral social science topics.

Dr. Ewald received her Ph.D. in Psychology from the University of Bielefeld, Germany and her Master's degree in Clinical Psychology and Experimental Design and Evaluation from Adelphi University in Long Island and the University of Bielefeld, Germany.

Lisa Wasserman, M.S., C.R.C., Partner
Lisa Wasserman is a scientific survey research manager with over 10 years of experience in a broad range of social science research topics including rehabilitation and mental health implementation, educational outcome and program evaluation. Ms. Wasserman has expertise in the management of complex research projects in the areas of health care, substance abuse, traffic safety, community perceptions, education and community based evaluations as well as studies related to the litigation process. She is specialized in survey design, multi-tiered data collection approaches and statewide as well as national field study management. In addition, Ms. Wasserman's expertise comprises court investigation including legal document research, probate and civil file reviews and the conception and execution of secondary research processes from a multitude of data sources. Ms. Wasserman has significant experience in database management and data coordination in conjunction with nationally executed multi-lateral field observations and is specialized in the design and configuration of data collection tools, techniques and strategies covering a wide range of social science research approaches.

Ms. Wasserman received her Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and Communication Studies from the University of Massachusetts in Amherst, and her Master's Degree in Counseling Psychology from San Francisco State University. Additionally, Ms. Wasserman received a Certification as a Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC) from the Commission on Rehabilitation Counselor Certification.

Michael Kennedy, Ph.D. Research Consultant
Dr. Kennedy is an experienced research consultant employing methods of evidence based research into scientifically sound and applicable research solutions for a wide range of customers and market fields. He has extensive experience of the field of business and customer behavior research, and has also extensive teaching experience, which has given him a comprehensive understanding of human decision-making processes in various contexts. Dr. Kennedy has conducted numerous behavioral research projects and has worked for clients in a wide array of markets and industries, including finance, health care, consumer goods, education, non-profit charities, pharmaceuticals and politics. Dr. Kennedy has also served as a National Science Foundation Post Doctoral Scholar, Division of Behavioral, Cognitive and Economic Sciences, and has conducted extensive research work with the United States Department of Energy. Michael Kennedy's main focus is the identification and analysis of human behavioral patterns by employing of social science theories, including anthropology, sociology, behavioral ecology and the principles of economics. He is adept at quantitative analyses, modeling, and advanced statistical techniques as well as in interpreting scientific results for implementation in business contexts.

Michael Kennedy received a Ph.D. and M.A. in Anthropology from the University of California, Davis, and a B.S. in Business Administration (Marketing) and Anthropology from the State University of New York at Albany.

Brian Paciotti, Ph.D. Research Consultant
Dr. Paciotti has extensive experience in organizational behavior and human decision-making processes, with an intermodal focus on social science disciplines. His research and applied work concentrates on the detection and quantification of interactional patterns in a broad range of human interactions. Dr. Paciotti has published scientific studies about the effectiveness of various organizational and management processes, and how cultural factors influence the outcomes of these practices. Dr. Paciotti has significant experience in the implementation and management of various types of studies, including human experiments and ethnography, and Mr. Paciotti has substantial expertise and in converting datasets into meaningful results using complex statistical models.

In his applied career as a researcher for state-level health and criminal systems, Dr. Paciotti has also conducted extensive studies in the area of organizational behavior. Here he has developed a solid foundation of "evidence-based" advice on management and organization of humans within interacting groups, which have provided Mr. Paciotti with a firm understanding of the core motivations of humans.

Dr. Paciotti received an interdisciplinary Ph.D. in Human Ecology from the University of California, Davis and he earned his B.S. with a double major in Natural Resources Management and Anthropology from Colorado State University.

Chris Ann Dickerson, Ph.D. Research Consultant
Dr. Dickerson is a seasoned advisor with 15 years experience in regulatory policy, designing, planning and evaluating resource conservation strategies, and developing cutting-edge valuation techniques for environmental resources. Much of her experience involves supervising multi-million dollar evaluations of large-scale energy conservation and efficiency programs. Dr. Dickerson has expertise in energy efficiency, water conservation and greenhouse gas reductions from efficiency and renewable energy. She has excellent, long-standing working relationships with a broad range of stakeholders including utilities, regulatory agencies, advisory boards, the consulting community, municipalities, and nongovernmental organizations.

Dr. Dickerson received her Ph.D. and Master's in Public Policy from the University of California Berkeley, M. S. from the University of California at Santa Cruz and A.B. from Stanford University.

Peter Brücker, Research Consultant
Peter Brücker is an experienced consultant with other 15 years of experience in the software implementation and electronic entertainment field in both Europe and the United States. His extensive expertise comprises market segmentation and market distribution channels for visual media and entertainment software products as well as their national and international trade channels.
